The Elemental Question of “May I . . .?” focuses on the many ways the dog can signal consent or refusal, or let us know that they are in agreement.
How do we ask this question, “May I . . .?” When and how does it come into play? Can we even recognize the moments where it is needed, and when we may have forgotten to ask – or listen to the answer.
